Carrie
Adelstein - ILENE
Carrie is excited to be
performing in TEATRON's production of BLUISH. Some of her
previous theatre credits include: SHOWDOWN (Mixed Company Theatre),
MIXED MESSAGES (Mixed Company Theatre) in both Toronto and
Austria, SNOW WHITE (Big Kid Entertainment), DREAM AWAKE (York
University), GUYS AND DOLLS, (Sarah Brown-John Abbott
College) and THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Gretl- John Abbott College). She
has appeared in commercials for Rogers and LG. Carrie would like to
congratulate the cast and crew of such a wonderful production and
she thanks Sean, her family and Deborah for all their amazing
support.
Melissa
Battey-Pratt - BETH
For Melissa, performing for a Toronto audience is
a dream come true. Raised in Kingston, Ontario, Melissa has
performed ballet at the Kingston Grand Theatre, acted in several
plays including THE WIZARD OF OZ as the Wicked Witch of the West and
more recently was featured in Canon Corporate sales films promoting
their new product line and services. Melissa has also been a model
in several fashion shows including the Fantasy Fashion Show at
Gallery 1313 in Toronto. When Melissa is not on stage, she is a
full time Marketing & Communications Specialist for Monteco – an
Environmental Engineering firm in Toronto
Ron
Boyd – BEN
Ron is thrilled to be returning to the boards
with TEATRON Theatre after appearing in THE DYBBUK last year. Ron
has starred in several successful productions for the Holy Blossom
Temple Stagecraft Company, among them THE PRICE, I'M NOT
RAPPAPORT, EINSTEIN'S GIFT, GOD OF VENGEANCE, and BROOKLYN BOY. He
has also performed with Juno Award winning children's performers
Judy and David in productions of GOLDIROCKS, PIGMANIA, RED'S IN THE
HOOD, and BEANSTOCK. Ron recently guest starred on an episode of CTV's
CORNER GAS, and can be seen on the web on the award winning web
series STAR TREK: PHASE II.
Bob
Cooper - MANNY
Bob is making his debut with TEATRON Theatre in
BLUISH. This is his first crossover from musicals into dramatic
plays. Most recently, he has been in productions of THE PAJAMA
GAME, IOLANTHE, GUYS AND DOLLS and FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. He has been
training at the Royal Conservatory of Ontario as a Classical
Baritone, and has won two Gold Medals at the Kiwanis Music Festival
in Voice. He has also performed with Theatre Brantford and the
Mohawk College Singers.
Andria
Siegler- LILLIAN
Andria returns to TEATRON for her third
production after appearing as Pearl Brisistsky in CHAIM'S LOVE SONG
and as Ma in THE GOD OF ISAAC. She is delighted to be back working
with such a fine director and a gifted cast and crew. Other selected
credits include JAKES WOMEN, OVER THE RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS,
MY DARLING JUDITH, YESTERDAY THE CHILDREN WERE DANCING and FORTY
CARATS. In her real life, Andria's favourite roles are wife, mom and
grandma, and as always, she is grateful to her family and friends
for their ongoing love and support.
Susan
Q Wilson – LANE
TEATRON Theatre début. Selected past credits
including Claire in GREAT CATHERINE by Shaw, Madame Babakina in THE
DIARY OF A SCOUNDREL by Ostrovsky and Princess Elena Krassiloff in
WAYS AND MEANS by Coward. (Hart House Theatre, Robert Gill
director). She also played Edith in THE WOMEN by Booth Luce
(University College, U of T). Last month, Susan created the role of
Druphonia in THE PRINCE AND THE PAUPER, an original English
pantomime romp mounted by The NAGs Players. |

Ari
Weisberg - DIRECTOR / PRODUCER
Ari’s directorship and design
credits include EDMOND, THE MELVILLE BOYS, THE AFFECTIONS OF MAY,
MURDER AMONG FRIENDS, THIS NIGHT, THE CHOSEN, THE SISTERS
ROSENSWEIG, HOME OF THE BRAVE, THE TENTH MAN, THE LAST NIGHT OF
BALLYHOO, THE GOD OF ISAAC, CONVERSATIONS WITH MY FATHER, CHAIM’S
LOVE SONG. A GLIMPSE OF THE LIGHT, THE DYBBUK and BRIGHTON BEACH
MEMOIRS. Ari is the founder and artistic director of TEATRON
Toronto Jewish Theatre. He worked for 18 years as a director and a
producer for television in Kingston, Ontario. Later he was able to
come back to his first love, live theatre.
