HARD LOVE (January 2011)
Tamar is delighted to be once more part of a TEATRON production after being Props Mistress for most of the theatre productions including THE CHOSEN, THE SISTERS ROSENSWEIG, HOME OF THE BRAVE, THE TENTH MAN, THE LAST NIGHT OF BALLYHOO, THE GOD OF ISAAC, CONVERSATIONS WITH MY FATHER., CHAIM’S LOVE SONG, A GLIMPSE OF THE LIGHT THE DYBBUK, BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS BLUISH and KOSHER LUTHERANS. Born in Poland and educated in France, Israel, England and Canada, her interest in theatrical "props" is an extension of work in sculpture, design and painting
Teatron Theatre début. Sarina created costumes for Canada's Wonderland, University of Toronto Festival of Dance, various small theatre and film productions, and freelance clothing and costume work. She graduated from York University in 2006 with a BFA in Visual Art, and studied costuming through the theatre department.
Teatron Theatre début. Tara is a Toronto and Montreal based actor and although she has made several notable film and television appearances, Tara is best known for her stage work. A recent portrayal of Ophelia in Necessary Angel’s production of HAMLET garnered her a second best actress nomination at the 2010 Dora Mavor Awards, Canada’s equivalent to the Tony Awards. Her first nomination was for the Toronto production of CRINGEWORTHY which was lauded by major critics at the National Post and the Globe and Mail as “brilliant” and she was singled out by CBC Radio as “a real find” for Toronto. This year Tara was chosen as one of the emerging actors to be photographed by the wonderful Tony Hauser for his book entitled “Stage Presence” where she appears with notable theatre greats such as Michel Tremblay, Wajdi Mouad and Daniel Brooks. Bianca returns to TEATRON Theatre after Stage Managing KOSHER LUTHERANS this fall. She is an alumna of the School of Music at the University of South Carolina hailing from Toronto, Canada. She last appeared on the stage as Crissy in Trustus Theatre’s summer 2010 production of HAIR. Stage management credits include Opera at USC’s productions of LE NOZZE DI FIGARO and THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA. Other onstage credits with the company include Emily Webb in OUR TOWN as well as the First Spirit in DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE and Lucy Brown in The THREEPENNY OPERA. She has also appeared on Workshop Theater's stage as Golde in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and Miss Dorothy Brown in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE.
Howard is a veteran professional actor who has performed both here and abroad. He is extremely pleased to play Zvi, a role to which he has felt strongly linked for several years, and is delighted to do so opposite the wonderful Tara Nicodemo. Howard recently performed the role of Marco in A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE this past October at the Segal Theatre in Montreal where he is presently based. He was also in all of last season’s original productions at Infinitheatre: as Larry in RABBIT RABBIT, as Ben in THE DAILY MIRACLE, and as Victor in FATHERLAND. Howard has just come back from Munich, Germany, where he performed with fellow Canadian artists in an English language BeMe Theatre production of BETRAYAL. He works regularly in film and television and makes an appearance in the major motion picture of BARNEY’S VERSION, theatrically released in Canada December 24th. Cristina is excited to return to TEATRON, after supporting the stage management for the 2010 production of KOSHER LUTHERANS. An honouree Event Management: Event and Exhibit design graduate, Cristina has had the pleasure of working with Toronto’s elite special events professionals, experienced in all aspects of event production, from front and centre to backstage management. Cristina has a background in the advertising industry having worked with several of the city’s top agencies. * appearing with the permission of Canadian Actors’ Equity Association.

He worked for 18 years as a director and a producer for television in Kingston, Ontario. Later he was able to come back to his first love, live theatre. |
